We know there are several options when it comes to online proofing for your wedding and event pictures. We think NextProof is evolving into one of the best proofing solutions available.

I thought I would take a moment and elaborate on a few of NextProof’s lesser-known features.

NextProof has built-in registration and email features. You can require registration for any NextProof event. Even better, you can send an email campaign to any event’s registered users. This makes it easy to notify them of specials or upcoming gallery expirations.

You can collect email addresses before an event is available. When creating a NextProof event, you can set the event to open on any future date. However, visitors to the event’s URL can register right away. You can then use NextProof’s email tool to contact all registered visitors when the gallery is ready.

You can embed event slideshows on your blog. Every NextProof event can automatically create a Flash slideshow of your featured images. Not only is the slideshow displayed to visitors, but you can even embed the slideshow in your blog. No downloads or tedious editing. Just paste some code and the slideshow appears with a link to your event.

You can automatically display events in WordPress. NextProof has a free WordPress plugin. Once installed, the plugin will display your current events on your blog’s sidebar. Completely automatic.

You can automatically display events in a BIG Folio blog. Our most recent blog updates included NextProof integration. Much like the WordPress plugin, you can automatically display event links in your BIG Folio blog’s sidebar.

You can automatically display events in your website. Our most recent BIG Folio websites offer NextProof integration as well. You can append your event links to any page on your website. We have plans for even better site integration in the future, so stay tuned.

We don’t take a lot of your money. One of the biggest arguments against hosted proofing is the price–and for good reason. Some proofing solutions take 15% or more of every transaction. Not us.
